Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University is a university that has already established itself as a reliable educational institution not only for those wishing to obtain quality higher education according to European standards among the Ukrainian audience, but also among foreign citizens.

In 2016, Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University became the first medical university of the Mykolayiv region and achieved great prospects in this direction. Every year, according to the international UNESCO rating “Top-200 Ukraine”, the university is recognized as the best university in the Mykolayiv region.

Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University is a member of the European University Association (EUA), the Magna Chartia Uneversitatum (MCU), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Medical Council of India (Medical Council of India (MCI)). In addition, according to the rating, ChNU is considered the best university in Mykolayiv.

The university ranked 46th in UniRank University Ranking among 194 Ukrainian higher education institutions. To the criteria UniRank selection includes: the presence of a statute, license and appropriate accreditation; implementation of educational activities according to junior degrees Bachelor’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctor of Philosophy; conducting training mainly in the traditional (non-distance) format of education.

In 2023, the university took 66th place in terms of the quality of education international students in the international Best Value Rankings for International Students 2023 according to Study Abroad Aide – a global database about universities, and was also included in 67% of the world’s best rankings universities.

Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University ranks 21st among 93 in the U-Multirank rating universities of Ukraine. U-Multirank is a system of new multidimensional rating, which was officially adopted at the end of January 2013 in Dublin by the European Union as an alternative to already established rating systems.

Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University attracts more and more students from other countries. The number of foreigners applying to our university is constantly increasing. Students from India, China, Armenia, Israel, Turkmenistan, Turkey and other countries study at the university. For 28 years of PMBSNU more than 2,500 foreign students studied at Petro Mohyla. University teachers are highly qualified specialists, they have extensive experience in teaching foreign students.

The Black Sea National University has created all the conditions for the development of young professionals. The material base of the university includes 11 buildings, united in a single complex – the campus. The university has a library with a fund of 110,000 copies, including books in 15 languages. The library includes a season ticket and 2 reading rooms with a total of 300 seats. There is an Information and Computer Center and 14 computer classes. Now there are 500 modern computers at the university. In scientific laboratories, students can get acquainted with the acquired theoretical knowledge. The university clinic and medical center will always provide the student with qualified medical care. There are also 3 modern gyms, 2 gyms and a yacht, where students regularly go on ecological expeditions. For the comfort of students, there is a canteen and a cafe, an art gallery, where the best artists exhibit their works, a water base, an international relations department and international cooperation department.

The international activities of the department are aimed at promoting the adaptation of foreign citizens to new living and learning conditions. The department solves the whole complex of questions, namely a meeting at the airport, arrival to Mykolayiv and settlement in a hostel. Assistance in drawing up the necessary migration documents, registration, execution of agreements for study and living in a dormitory, preparation of relevant orders, assistance in organizing medical examinations and providing medical care to foreign students, solving current household issues and monitoring compliance with the rules of living in a dormitory.

Employees of the department conduct extracurricular organizational work with foreign students. In addition, employees of the department prepare admission documents for submission to the admissions committee of the university, draw up certificates and other documents for students, as well as assist in the nostrification of documents on education. Employees of the department have the necessary qualifications to perform the above work and speak several foreign languages. The department conducts career guidance work, maintains correspondence with potential students, prepares and sends appropriate invitations to study at the university.

Education and professional path:

In 2017 she received a Bachelor’s Degree from Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University with a Degree in Foreign Philology (English, German, French Language and Literature). During her studies she was published in the journal “Student Scientific Studies”, participated in international scientific and practical conferences. In 2019 she received a Master’s Degree from Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University at the specialty «International Relations». In 2024, she received her Second Master`s Degree in “Public Management and Administration” at Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University.


VASYLENKO VIKTORIIA VITALIIVNA

Education and professional path:

In 2020 she finished hight school with honors (received a gold medal) and entered the law faculty of the Black Sea National University. During her studies, she took an active part in student self-government. She attended an international school in Poznań «International communication. Parthership, team building». She is an active participant in regional conferences. Published in the collection “Mohyla readings”, attended two international scientific and practical conferences (Lviv, Dnipro). She is interested in psychology.

Education and professional path:

He graduated the Moscow Military Institute with a degree  «Translator-referent with knowledge of Chinese and English» (1991), and  Kyiv National Economic University with a degree  «International Economics», specialist (1996). In 2008-2009 took an additional course of Chinese language training in Beijing, China. Extensive and diverse experience in working with foreign languages and in the field of international commercial relations.
