PROCEDURE FOR ISSUING AN ENTRY VISA TYPE D

To start the procedure for obtaining a permit to enter Ukraine, a citizen must apply to the Department of International Relations of PMBSNU to receive an invitation to study on an official basis.

To the appeal it is necessary to add:

  1. a scanned copy of a foreigner’s passport document or other identity document;
  2. a scanned copy of the medical certificate of health, certified by the official health authority of the country from which the foreigner came;
  3. a scanned copy of the document on previous education and a scanned copy of the appendix to the document on education, which contains information on academic performance in academic disciplines. If the last two documents have an English or Russian version, a translation into Ukrainian is not required. Otherwise, the foreigner must provide a scanned copy of the official translation into Ukrainian;
  4. a scanned copy of the signed consent to the processing of personal data (provided);
  5. receipt of payment of the cost of preparation of the invitation to the account.

The cost of the invitation is $ 100 (one hundred) US dollars at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine at the time of payment.

Then, with the original invitation, you must apply to the Embassy of Ukraine in your country or a neighboring country with an application for an entry visa to study in Ukraine.

All invitations to study issued by universities must be issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine before they are issued to applicants. The Ukrainian State Center for International Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine performs such registration on behalf of the Ministry and provides official confirmation of such registration (visa support) to the Consulate of Ukraine in the respective country. Consulates do not accept documents from foreign students without such registration and therefore cannot continue the procedure of issuing a student visa.

Visa support is a paid service of the Ukrainian State Center for International Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. International students can find more information about the visa support service by following this link.
