The development of Chinese media has transitioned from being closed to open and from singular to diverse. Since the era of reform and opening up, China’s media industry has experienced rapid growth, shaping a multifaceted media landscape with party newspapers, periodicals, radio and television, as well as online platforms at its core. Simultaneously, Chinese media have been actively engaging in international cooperation and cultural exchanges to enhance their global representation.
