THE DAY OF SOCIAL SERVICE WORKERS


The day of Social Service Workers is celebrated in Ukraine on the first Sunday of November.

This holiday proves that the role of social workers who provide the realization of state policy on questions of social protection, employment, payment organization and labor safety and employment relationship, is very big.

In 2016 this holiday will be celebrated on November 6.

On the eve of the holiday, the students of the Faculty of Sociology prepared a concert. Volodymyr Behlytsia, the first vice rector on research work of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University congratulated on the holiday. Liubov Bielkina, the deputy director of Social Security Department of Mykolaiv City Administration, Dmytro Remezov, the head of non-governmental organization “ChangeLog” joined the congratulations. Larysa Kolomiiets, the deputy director of Mykolaiv Regional Centre for AIDS Disease Prevention and Control presented several sets of  working clothes and medical literature. The Dean of the Medical Institute, Hennadii Hryshchenko pointed out that the profession of social and medical worker has something in common, their main aim is to care about people.

On the stage took place the initiation ceremony in the profession “Social worker” of fist and second-year students. Videos, which were prepared by different groups of the faculty, were very interesting. Songs were heard from the stage and the audience sang together with singers. Students have presented flowers to each lecturer.

Let’s congratulate on the Day of Social Service Worker! Your high-qualification, hard work, cordial warmth will serve people in the future, and this holiday will bring awareness that you are a part of a great work concerning the social security of people.

Organizing committee of the 1st International Workshop on Information-Communication Technologies & Embedded Systems (ICT&ES-2019) is honored to announce that the event will be held on 14-15 of November, 2019 at Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University.

Olbian Forum – 2018
