Visit of Professor Paolo Biagi to Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University


Yearly, Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University confirms the high status of one of the leaders of education in the Black Sea region by implementing the goals which are set in the “Strategy for the Internationalization of the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University in 2018-2023”, which is the embodiment of international cooperation.

The Venetian University of Ca’Foscari demonstrates an interest in developing educational and research programs with our University. The confirmation of this cooperation is regular visits of students and teachers of both Universities within the framework of the Erasmus+ academic exchange program.

Professor Paolo Biagi visits Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University for five years, giving lectures which are a unique opportunity for the professional development of our students.He is famous in Italy and Europe as a historian and archaeologist, Doctor of Sciences, Professor of History at the Department of Asian and North African Studies at the Italian University of Ca’Foscari (Venice).

Thus, on April 17, 2019, a new course of lectures for the students of PMBSNU has begun. Within the framework of his academic visit, Professor Biagi read a scientific course “Ancient History of Europe” for the students of the first year of study of the Faculty of Political Sciences, specialty “History” of PMBSNU.

Participants received their certificates on May 14, 2019, at the Academic Council premises. The experience of the European History School is highly important for professors and students of the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, as it allows us to understand the peculiarities of research and teaching in European Universities, to study new methodologies, to learn new traditions and culture.

Organizing committee of the 1st International Workshop on Information-Communication Technologies & Embedded Systems (ICT&ES-2019) is honored to announce that the event will be held on 14-15 of November, 2019 at Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University.
ICT&ES sets a goal to serve as a platform for publishing research results, sharing findings with other researchers, and development of collaborations between scientists. With active tremendous pace of technologies development, ICT&ES concentrates on development of models and methods in context of modern technologies and concepts
(IoT, SDN, AI, Big Data, Data Mining, Blockchain, etc.).

Olbian Forum – 2018
