On May 27, the innovative tournament «Best device for FAI» was held in Dnipro in Noosphere Engineering School. The purpose of the tournament is to develop and introduce a concept device for The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI). The main prize – $ 5,000 and the opportunity to implement a series of devices for testing!


 

On May 29, the Institute of Philology provided the training on “Domestic Violence: How to write about it professionally?” for students of specialty “Journalism”.


 

On May 25, the Korean language competition in Petro Mohyla BSNU was held among students of Sedzhonh Institute. It was opened by Oleksandr Pronkevych,  Director of the Institute of Philology of PMBSNU. The guest of honor of the event was Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Korea – Pak Hing Kwan. Along with a teacher of Korean (Son Dzhen Khi), he chose one winner among the seventeen participants.


The Petro Mohyla BSNU team of рrogrammers and economists gained  confident victory! On April 22, the final of the 3rd Vernadsky Challenge Engineering Startup Competition 2017 took place in Lviv. Thre PMBSNU project “Cubomania” reached the final of the competition, hitting the best ten among the 230 submitted projects!


On 6 April Olena Tryhub, the artist from Mykolaiv and the senior lecturer from the Design Department of Mykolaiv Division of Kyiv National University of culture and arts, visited Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University with her exhibition.


At the support of Fulbright Program on April 11. at the assembly hall of the University, a presentation of movie “Maidan Women” took place. Marta Kolomiiets, the Director of Fulbright Program in Ukraine was at the film show.


At the support of the Embassy of the USA in Ukraine, the Fulbright Program visited our University with the presentation of workshop training on writing publications and articles in the international publications. The event took place in the library of The Institute of Philology.


On March 31, 3rd and 4th-year students of the of the Faculty of Law took part in the III All-Ukrainian Research-to-practice Symposium “Student scientific debate outside the format”, that was held at the University of King Daniel in Ivano-Frankivsk. Among the guests, who were invited by the


On April 13, Bohdan Yaremenko (Chairman of the Board, Foreign policy, and security expert) and Yurii Smielianskyi (Economics and temporarily occupied territories studies expert, Chair of the Executive Board of the Black Sea Institute of Strategic Studies) visited our University.


This year is called the Year of Japan in Ukraine. Now, the project about Sakura planting is spread all over Ukraine. The name of this project is “ 2500 Sakura Campaign”, that was organized by the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine.


On 15 April, in the sports hall of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, a volleyball competition took place. It was devoted to the memory of Volodymyr Chaika, the mayor of Mykolaiv (2000-2013).


On 18 March 2017, the students from the Faculty of Economics took part in the All-Ukrainian Academic Competition in Business English that was held by the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University and Ukrainian-American Liberal Arts Institute “Wisconsin International University (USA) Ukraine”, and with the support of British Council sponsorship.


The final part of the All-Ukrainian Student Competition in law took place at the premises of Zaporizhzhia National University from April 11 to April 13. The representatives from 50 leading Ukrainian high educational establishments took part in the competition, and one of the prize places was taken by Faculty of Law students from Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University. The team consisted of master degree students (group 551), in particular, Shalabai Anhelina, Nechai Oleksandr and Zhovtonozhko Iryna.


On April 20, the XV exhibition of “Mykolaiv Book” local publishing houses took place at M.L. Kropyvnytskyi Central library with the support of Mykolaiv Regional Administration and Mykolaiv Local Council.


On April 21, the solemn opening of Teodor Minkov portrait sculpture and the presentation of the documents of Mykolaiv Regional Public Record Office connected with South Slavic Boarding School was held in Mykolaiv Regional History Museum.


Interesting meetings with famous contemporary people has become usual for the students and lecturers of our University. On April 21 at the Academic Council Board Room, the presentation of the book “Annexation. The Crimean Peninsula. Hybrid War Chronicles” took place at Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University. The author of the book is Taras Berezovets, who is a famous Ukrainian political consultant, journalist, the director of personal and strategic consulting services company “Berta Communications.”


On April 21 Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University celebrated 150 anniversary from the day of South Slavic Boarding School Foundation in the terms of the II International Scientific Conference “Slavic Studies.” The solemn ceremony began at Mykolaiv Museum of Regional Ethnography “Staroflotski kazarmy (Old Fleet Barracks).” 


On April 24 in the hall of Mykolaiv Regional Council sessional room, career-guidance exhibition “Education – 2017” took place.


Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University keeps numerous international ties between Universities and due to this fact it has the reputation of one of the best high educational establishments in the south of Ukraine.


Glory to Ukraine! Exactly with these words, the students of “International Relations” specialty were greeted in October 2015 by Vasyl Ivanovych Marushchynets, who is an ex-vice-ambassador of Ukraine in Germany and Austria, counselor of the Ministry of International Affairs Public Record Department in Ukraine.

Organizing committee of the 1st International Workshop on Information-Communication Technologies & Embedded Systems (ICT&ES-2019) is honored to announce that the event will be held on 14-15 of November, 2019 at Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University.

Olbian Forum – 2018
