On 29, September at Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University an unforgettable event for first-year students, the Ecologists’ Consecration, who study at the Ecology Faculty, took place. The event was held and organized by the fourth year students of the Ecology Faculty.
Students ecologists dipped into the atmosphere of the incredible ecologists’ adventures on the territory of the University and far beyond its borders, including the historical part of Mykolaiv.
Singing, fantasy formation, wonderful knowledge and even tourist skills – future professionals should have shown all the above-mentioned skills during the quest. While playing the quest they have solved different tasks.
Blackthorn game consisted of 10 rounds and took place at different stations. The destination points were the following: the territory of the University, part “National Garden”, Admiralty park, museum “Staroflotski kazarmy (Old Naval Barracks)”, public garden “Dobrota (Kindness)” , Admiral Makarov avenue, and the last place was the celebration at the Victory park.
During this game, future ecologists should have made tasks which would have proved their knowledge in ecology, united them into a big ecological family where everyone could rely on each other, encourage and trust.
After passing each round, students got their long expected treasure – student cards and goodies. After this, during the final part of the holiday, all the students have read the solemn Oath of the Ecologist.
