In honor of St. Nicholas Day, students of the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University decorated the Christmas tree

On December 19, on St. Nicholas Day, students of the Faculty of Economics, specialty “Management” of the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University of Ukraine began to decorate a Christmas tree in the university yard. Foreign students from the Medical Institute joined the traditional Christmas tree decoration together with Olga Mykolayivna Yaremchuk, Deputy Director of the Medical Institute for work with foreign students.

“Our traditions are very interesting for foreign students from India and Nigeria. During the festive event, foreign students sang carols in english, which supported the New Year’s atmosphere. Foreign students are very happy that such holidays are organized in PMBSNU and they always take an active part in them. After all, they can join the Ukrainian traditions and feel part of not only the group, but also the university, “said Olga Yaremchuk.

It is worth noting that students from India have already celebrated the traditional Indian New Year of Diwali, and are now preparing to celebrate the New Year according to Ukrainian traditions.
