On June 5, foreign students of the Medical Institute of the PMBSNU visited the Mykolayiv Regional orphanage with gifts from the Mykolayiv Regional Council. The day before, students learned what children need. Thus, it was decided to donate two hanging swings for the office of sensory integration for UAH 8,000.
Director of Carbon Federation, a partner company of the PMBSNU in the recruitment of foreign students, Mohan Sundar says:
“We decided to involve students to show what life can be like. Many young people complain that they don’t have something, but there are those who don’t have much more. “
Students say that in India they have a tradition of helping children: give clothes, toys, sweets. Therefore, having started studying in PMBSNU, they decided to continue this tradition. In the Mykolayiv Regional Orphanage students were distributed to visit three different groups. In addition to swings, they bought fruit, candy and cookies for the children.
