On May 27, the innovative tournament «Best device for FAI» was held in Dnipro in Noosphere Engineering School. The purpose of the tournament is to develop and introduce a concept device for The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI). The main prize – $ 5,000 and the opportunity to implement a series of devices for testing!
On May 25, the Korean language competition in Petro Mohyla BSNU was held among students of Sedzhonh Institute. It was opened by Oleksandr Pronkevych, Director of the Institute of Philology of PMBSNU. The guest of honor of the event was Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Korea – Pak Hing Kwan. Along with a teacher of Korean (Son Dzhen Khi), he chose one winner among the seventeen participants.
The Petro Mohyla BSNU team of рrogrammers and economists gained confident victory! On April 22, the final of the 3rd Vernadsky Challenge Engineering Startup Competition 2017 took place in Lviv. Thre PMBSNU project “Cubomania” reached the final of the competition, hitting the best ten among the 230 submitted projects!
On 18 March 2017, the students from the Faculty of Economics took part in the All-Ukrainian Academic Competition in Business English that was held by the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University and Ukrainian-American Liberal Arts Institute “Wisconsin International University (USA) Ukraine”, and with the support of British Council sponsorship.
The final part of the All-Ukrainian Student Competition in law took place at the premises of Zaporizhzhia National University from April 11 to April 13. The representatives from 50 leading Ukrainian high educational establishments took part in the competition, and one of the prize places was taken by Faculty of Law students from Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University. The team consisted of master degree students (group 551), in particular, Shalabai Anhelina, Nechai Oleksandr and Zhovtonozhko Iryna.
Interesting meetings with famous contemporary people has become usual for the students and lecturers of our University. On April 21 at the Academic Council Board Room, the presentation of the book “Annexation. The Crimean Peninsula. Hybrid War Chronicles” took place at Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University. The author of the book is Taras Berezovets, who is a famous Ukrainian political consultant, journalist, the director of personal and strategic consulting services company “Berta Communications.”
On April 21 Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University celebrated 150 anniversary from the day of South Slavic Boarding School Foundation in the terms of the II International Scientific Conference “Slavic Studies.” The solemn ceremony began at Mykolaiv Museum of Regional Ethnography “Staroflotski kazarmy (Old Fleet Barracks).”

Exactly with these words, the students of “International Relations” specialty were greeted in October 2015 by Vasyl Ivanovych Marushchynets, who is an ex-vice-ambassador of Ukraine in Germany and Austria, counselor of the Ministry of International Affairs Public Record Department in Ukraine.
