On August 31, at the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University, a solemn dedication of the freshmen students took place.
Rector of the university Leonid Klymenko has traditionally congratulated the first-year students and emphasized the following: “This is the holiday of those people, who believe in the bright future of our state; those, who want to receive high-quality education in a Ukrainian educational institution, and have been chosen to study at our university, taking participation in the all-Ukrainian competition “. Leonid Pavlovych wished all of them happy youth, good education and all the best
The State Anthem of Ukraine has reminded all those present that the movement forward begins precisely from the national consciousness.
An honorable guest of the holiday was the Head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Olexii Savchenko. He proclaimed a minute of silence to honor those Heroes, who gave their lives for peace in our country.
Oleksii Yuriiovych noted that the learning process always inspires and people are growing while getting education.
First-year students Marharyta Zadorozhko and Yevhen Zakharenkov solemnly laid flowers to the monument to the cultural and educational figure – Petro Mohyla, whose name our university holds. In addition, Leonid Klymenko gave a symbolic student card, which they received with the announcement of the first-year’s oath.
Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Victoria Moskalenko, City Mayor Oleksandr Sinevych, People’s Deputy Taras Kremin, Vice-Governor Vitalii Kondratov also accepted invitations and visited the holiday as the honorable guests.
Our students-paralympics Hennadii Boiko and Sergii Palamarchuk came to congratulate the future students.
We wish our students to achieve new peaks together!
